Canvas and leather are manifestly very different things to repair. I take had LV repair a couple of bags that had worn leather pipe. The numberless came back looking like new.

Canvas really can't be repaired. Unless you apply some kind of patch on top of the hole left by the burn. What happened by the way?

From what I know, they won't impact bag with damaged sail. They won't even supervene upon vachetta if canvas is croaky (I have speedy 30 and wanted to supersede the side leather pull as it got stretched from padlock, merely my pocketbook has small scissure on canvas near attachment, and they wouldn't take it in at all, though leather was nowhere near the crack itself lol)

Canvas cannot be repaired. Simply I wonder if LV just replaced the burnt sail with a new sheet console? The handbag doesn't use 1 continuous canvas. I'm sure the Odeon is assembled slice by piece. But I am going to imagine it going to be costly if they have.

IF and it is a big IF, that LV would replace that canvas piece. There is NO guarantee that the canvass will match. Some other PF member had a piece replaced on her bag and it looked terrible equally it did not match the canvas on the rest of the purse. Unless you basically got this purse for a steal and tin employ it for parts, then I agree with fabuleux, send it dorsum.

IF and information technology is a big IF, that LV would replace that sheet piece. There is NO guarantee that the sheet will match. Another PF fellow member had a piece replaced on her bag and it looked terrible every bit it did not friction match the canvas on the balance of the pocketbook. Unless you basically got this handbag for a steal and can employ it for parts, then I agree with fabuleux, send information technology back.

They won't fifty-fifty replace vachetta if canvass is cracked (I have speedy xxx and wanted to supersede the side leather pull equally it got stretched from padlock, but my bag has modest crack on canvas near attachment, and they wouldn't take it in at all, though leather was nowhere near the crack itself lol)
